![]() ![]() The other complain is that it is a bit short for an RPG with slightly over 20 hours. It is more that it feels limited and I would pay a lot of money for a successor in this style. I clarify here that it is not buggy, unfinished or something comparable in this regard. A mayor misstep is that the game feels sometimes like an expansion and not like a full game. My nitpicks are that it is a game I will not replay because I know to much and the style while being good is not fully my cup of tea. Presentation wise the game looks good and the maps are interestingly designed. I especially like the cunning of Cassia who is a remarkable protagonist and some of the good twists. The story while not inventing the wheel is engaging and has its strong moments. Depending on your choices there are many outcomes affecting the ending the faith of the characters or maybe even some other stuff in the game. The battles were always interesting and I say there were only 1 or 2 missteps for me (not that critical as it could just be me). ![]() It was enjoyable to have options available. You can use the surrounding for your advantage like collapsing stuff on your enemies or setting oil pools on fire to just name a few. Another interesting element is on the maps. This makes the battles far more interesting. Warning if you assign heroes you cant use them for the other phase). Often you can sabotage or outmaneuver enemies with a secondary team (= 2 phase battles. These can range from just good advice up to game changing tactical advantages. You can get intel or information on your target locations. When this happens you have to defend the locations but with your soldiers (if your heroes are not present). Also keep in mind that Marwan will not sit idle on his throne and will counterattack from time to time (Slight spoiler: After each 3 battles if I remember correctly. So the additional heroes are a really valuable asset. These can be recruited and develop the more locations you have liberated / conquered (Their leader is stronger but not developable by yourself). Also except of your main 4 heroes which you can develop as you seem fit you have only access to soldiers. Different approaches are possible and some locations have additional benefits as for example gaining better stock of (buy able) equipment or additional heroes. All have a different difficulty which is displayed as number (The higher the more difficult). After the beginning battles you are on the map of Mengbilla and can chose your battles. It is a standard turn based tactical RPG. It depends on your choices if it will be a liberation or tyrannical usurpation. From there on she wants to claim the Shark Thrown to rule over Mengbilla overthrowing her former husband Marwan and thanking him personally for the imprisonment. It is the story of former noble woman Cassia Corapia wife of Marwan the ruler of Mengbilla who was thrown into a prison infested with poisonous spiders and could escape after 4 horrifying years. ![]() You have to adapt to other rule systems but it is not overly complicated. It is based on the German tabletop RPG “The Dark Eye” (Das schwarze Auge) which is different to Dungeons & Dragons and quite successful on the German market. On the negative side the game feels a bit like an expansion and it is a bit short for a RPG with approx 20-25 hours (but it were fun hours). The positives are the interesting battles, game mechanics, characters and multiple approaches. On An insider tip for fans of strategic RPGs. An insider tip for fans of strategic RPGs. ![]()

![]() But it scared me and that's exactly what it's supposed to do. But unlike some (like "Scream") this is pretty unrelenting and wears you down. ![]() In some ways I applaud a grim, graphic R rated horror film that pulls no punches-I HATE the watered down PG-13 crap we usually get. Brewster, Handley, Baird and Bomer are all good-looking and likable-when the violence starts you really are horrified at seeing such great characters being tortured. Leather Face is all like chasing people and that lady be screaming and then she like keeps screaming and like runs into a tree - LeatherFace The Movie. I was cringing in my seat a few times and jumped more than once. The gore is strong and disgusting (this got trimmed to get an R rating) and I can't say I liked it.but it did it's job. Very grim and graphic with no humor and shot in muted color.just as the 2003 one. Lee Ermey) who is Leatherface's uncle.and the "fun" begins. But they're stopped by crazy Sheriff Hoyt (R. That's all done within the first 20 minutes.then it's just a virtual redo on the original with four likable 20-somethings being captured and tortured by Leatherface and his family. A digital menu board will entice the gamblers. A main dining room with the primary entrance in the hotel lobby is unchanged from Kokomo's days and a spacious lounge area with a 20 stool bar, accessible from the casino floor. The restaurant effectively becomes two visually separate, but physically connected sections. The 8,163-square-foot space will receive a $1 million makeover. Good gambling across the street at Imperial Palace too! Lots to do in the area, which is great. Decent casino.and not as smokey as some others. Secret Garden was a waste of $30 for the 2 of us, so if you want to go, you may want to look for coupons so you are not too disappointed. Bought some products on sale at the spa too.good stuff. This is a very pricey salon (but very nice), so the Groupon was a good idea. ![]() Carnegie's service was better.as was the small coffee shops (blenz?). The service in the House of Blues was terrible unfortunately.as was the Pizza place. The only downsides were: no mini fridge or microwave, our room was a mile from the elevator, and the doors make quite a bit of noise when closing (I guess I am somewhat of a light sleeper though). The room had awesome decor, a great view, comfy bed, and a fabulous bathroom with decent toiletries. We were upgraded to a King Tower Deluxe room on the 25th floor. Overall, I love this hotel and recommend! The concierge staff seemed to be more concerned with whatever they were texting on their phones, (one would expect someone a little older to be a concierge). The Christmas decorations are up and are breathtakingly beautiful. I would strongly recommend eating at Kokomo's. Not sure why we chose that for our meal but it was good! California Pizza kitchen was consistant for that chain. I expect a little more when I stay somewhere of this quality. I developed a horrible sinus infection due to the cigarette smoke that was in the casino. The only complaint that I had is that the hotel doesn't seem to be very well ventilated. This doesn't reflect on the Mirage hotel in general though. Nobody offered to help with anything and ignored us when we tried to get their attention. Now, the women who work at the Mirage gift shop were beyone rude. We had the best food we have had in years at Kokomo's. The host/wait staff at Kokomo's restaurant went above and beyond to make our dinner special. The housekeeping staff was more than accommodating. The suite was fabulous and left nothing to be desired. This was pretty good considering we got a low rate with a travel agent to begin with. This time we asked for an upgrade to a suite and were given a two bedroom suite for an extra 150.00 a night. The first time I was lucky enough to have stayed in one of the villas. This is the second time I have stayed at Mirage. ![]() |
